Shipping containers just never made sense to me. They cost way too much and are not a convient shape for anything but packed shipping.

Why not everything over a certain size? It would be impossible to manage every 1 man business or job, but every 100 or 500 or 1000+ business already has significant management.

"Be the sacrifice" has been the motto since the industrial revolution and the automated loom. What's after AI, be the sacrifice so we can live in squalor out in space?

Im pretty sure most people would be fine with a 10% slower rate in technology gains if they could spend that money on having better lives now.

Marx envisioned the working class have control of and directly receiving the dividends of their economy, and thus from AI also.

I certainly don't expect to get a dividend payment from AI anytime soon just for being part of the working class.

If the nation was mostly co-ops, and possibly even unions if they are given full autonomy and covered the majority of the nation, fits the definition of socialism. Plus co-ops have naturally been on the rise for decades.

The idea that there must be individuals skimming the most profit possible off the top, or else all economics would collapse, is ridiculous to me. Do you think groups of people can't possibly figure out a pay scale within their business?

Why is socialism a pipe dream? Unions and co-ops aren't pipe dreams, and if we had nation wide unions or converted most businesses into co-ops, we would arguably be living under a socialist economy. If people had direct voting power over economic and business issues that would be socialism.

Some methods are more realistic than others, but I don't see a requirement for any outlandish ideas.

To an American it looks painfully small and slow for coming off a highway and would be overwhelmed often with cars and semi-truck traffic. One semi-truck would stop an entire circles worth of cars with its ass end swinging in and out. And highway travellers are going to be gun shy and not respond as quickly to gaps in the circle after doing 75+mph for an hour or more.

I would take those stances if they didn't spend any real time picking out or curating their furnature and goods.

If they spent time more time curating better AI images or asked anybody with modern taste and style what they thought we probably wouldn't be talking about it.

I wouldn't call pointing out a business's activities and shop features as much of a threat. You either live with your business choices or change them.

Business is not entitled to people's patronage, they can refuse them for any reason. They are not and should not be shielded from public opinion.

Why should corporations be given rights equal to humans? I see no problem to okaying one activity for individuals but banning it from businesses and corporations.

Because corporations are organizations of people?
