These stocks crashing (not saying it will or won’t happen), means AI is crashing, and that will be a much broader selloff than these 3. Add Microsoft, Micron, Amazon, Oracle, Nvidia, Supermicro, Dell, etc, any company that has direct or indirect exposure to the massive AI boom (and possibly their lenders).
Only had a brief look at the “facts” that were made to check, many are quite political, where two fact checking organisation of opposite political persuasion would probably disagree more often than 67%.
But that means going back to "80% profit margin" Jensen and further digging your capex hole. The benefits would have to pay not only for current capex but also past capex.
But by then, I will be able to go one line down in my dropdown menu to switch to a newer LLM provider who doesn't have to amortize those past capex.
Yes, the whole thing feels dot comish. I’m betting there will be a few (maybe only 1-2, like what happened to search) winners, and everyone else is in for a bad time. It’s the same dynamic too: the winners are going to win so big that everyone wants to get their money in for a chance at a piece of the pie.
If they recognize they are betting companies, they have no right to operate in the majority of the states. So, they found the CFTC willing to pretend that these betting contracts are in fact securities, and that is how they can legally operate.
They could refuse to supply replacement parts though and while reverse engineering critical replacements was easier in 1936 it was still a serious concern (especially when it came to figuring out where the capacity to do so would come from).
Latin was still part of the mandatory curriculum in french schools, at least when I was there. Didn’t make french kids bilingual (no more than english courses), but it would be safe to assume the average man in the street has at least some vague notions of latin.
Agree. But I asked a couple questions about a year ago and got zero response. It's not just people asking questions who deserted SO, it is also people answering them (probably a chicken and egg problem - reversal of network effects).
I had a work SO account with many questions/answers - everything fine. Later I created a SO account for use with my private projects and happened to have answered a couple questions without getting upvotes. The algorithm banned me from answering questions with the remark that I should improve the quality of my answers. You can bet that I never answered a question again on SO with any account.
Oh come on. Not even driving anywhere in Europe; higher difficulty levels would be Turkey , India, Russia, Egypt. Add countryside for extra points. Add harvest season in countryside for unique achievement. Add rainy/snowy season in countryside to master this game.
