ignorance at the pick

Is all of them, every "smart tv" does it, even after adb, permission restricting or rooting. Insert a (non infected) usb lamp in your tv and see the lamp turning on when your tv is off. It notifies you about the background activation activity :) Interesting to see when exactly get active (is it keywords or nearby devices or scheduled processes)? Can´t be keywords as that would mean 24/7 active and the lamp says otherwise.

Congrats, great project. More info would be appreciated, I.E upload limit in GB for each and in total?

Thank you! Sorry about that, this post on HN caught me before it was ready. Upload limits are: 5GB for logs, 5GB for artifacts, 10 GB cache. These limits will probably change once I introduce a paid trier (same limits there, lower limits on the free tier)

Terrific, care to opensource it by chance?

Even animals have a stability pact. Humans, especially politics need stability, when you mess it up, fear takes over and among other things, defensive stuff happens. So this is a simple reactive defensive act.

Huggingface, llama.cpp and all European frontier. Congrats to Huggingface Team, that amount is tempting but nowhere near your real evaluation. You were about to blow up and there is no AI bubble (just not enough infrastructure like energy and hardware to process current and exponential inevitable growing tokens). Huggingface is bringing the real value to AI community, all the rest is more like scalping IMHO. Nvidia is a great company but not opensource friendly by historical doings. Today is a sad day for the community. Put a timer 2 year from now and mark this words: Huggingface is the free foundation, get what you can today.

Outdated take. Nvidia now open sources whatever will make them sell more chips. Keeping the backbone of Oss model delivery afloat seems like it would sell more chips.

> Nvidia now open sources whatever will make them sell more chips

Oh what did they release?

NVIDIA Nemotron is one example. I think they have some others related to robotics.

* Tensorrt-LLM * Dynamo

Yes, also feel this is a massive underpricing.

Yes, for sure.

I agree with you as it is rightly put as you say. The thing is that the proprietary generated code is marked anyway, so you want it or not, even as a paid customer you don´t get to choose that. The big question is: Is all the "AI" generated content infected or just marked?

Yeah right, like that´s the point. Are we normalizing ALIENS now, if this isn´t weird!

It's ridiculous yes.

Which part exactly is ridiculous, that the gov has a reason to warn about "ALIENS", that the people missed/normalized it, that this is not a breaking news everywhere questioning and investigating or that you suggest to read a book about it :) It is not so ridiculous, it is instead surreal, cause the reality we know is shaking/moving our routine very fast.

All of it! I’m skeptical the Chinese government actually announced, it would’ve been all over the news, not some young TimTokker without a brain.

Yeah you are right, I thought this is the state Chinese media: https://content-static.cctvnews.cctv.com/snow-book/index.htm... that reported the news.

R.I.P You remind me of Mitnick, this is incarnation cause you have the same style verbatim. Glad to know your breed is still active.

I know opinions about Mitnick are quite divided. But I enjoyed reading "Ghost in the Wires" (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/10256723-ghost-in-the-wi...). It's giving this 90s-era hacker vibe that's kinda fun (even if the truth might be stretched a bit).

Interesting story, indeed worth reading. You are one of the smart Europeans that used oversea platforms at your profit. These platforms are shadowbanning European content by design. Hope we get similar platforms here in Europe soon. Well done.
