I really like the Tufte CSS style, so much so that I adapted it for my own blog. In my opinion it suits the longer, more thoughtful posts that I was trying to create.

Tufte-style presentation really shines when trying to convey very complex ideas that require a lot of text. For example, this is my attempt at explaining HTTP from the ground up[0]. The side-notes really help to add additional information without breaking the flow of text.

That said, I don't think it looks that great on mobile devices in portrait mode. I still haven't found a good solution to this.
