On the topic of free speech, this new wave of banning politician was one of the outcome people warned about. Once they start there is a long list of countries and politician that hold views that twitter will feel uncomfortable with. At some point there will be a ban near an election and statisticians that work with polls will detect a statistically significant effect from the ban. At that point twitter will be officially a US organization that are influencing other countries democratic elections.

It will be interesting to see if leaders in EU is going to wait and see, or act.
